The Israeli chemistry team returned from Zurich with 4 medals: 1 Arad, 3 silver. The winners are (from right to left): Shoham Assis from Psagot School in Karmiel (Arad), Shon Hentz from Rabin School in Gan Yavneh (Silver), Netta David Eiger from the Shaked Darca Secondary School, Valley of Springs (Silver) and Yonathan Gontmaher from Hagimnasiya Harealit School in Rishon Lezion (Silver) the students are surrounded by coaches from the Technion: Nir Cohen on the left, Aleksandr Koronatov on the right and the head of the program Prof. Zeev Gross in the back. In 2024 we will participate in two Olympics, in China and Saudi Arabia. Do you or your children have the motivation and desire to compete for a place in the team? I am glad to share with you that I just came back from the Mendeleev Olympiad in which two of our pupils got Bronze Medals and two Silver Medals
Congratulations to the members of the Israeli delegation to the Mendeleev Olympics in Chemistry for their achievements in the Olympics. The training of the students for the Chemistry Olympics is held at the Schulich Faculty of Chemistry, led by Prof. Zeev Gross and under the direction of the head coach, Dr. Izna Nigel Ettinger.
The winner of the gold medal is Nir Cohen, who won a silver medal in this competition last year. Bronze medals were won by Liora Karni, Shon Hantz and Tal Sasson.
